Have you recently installed a new door in your home and have no idea what to do with your old one? You could of course throw it away, or reuse it as decor in your home. We’re sure you’re probably thinking how on earth can you decorate your home with an old door? Well we came across two practical and functional ideas.
The first way to reuse a door in your home is to add a back rest, two arms rest and suspend it with chains to make a wing for the porch. Throw on a coat of paint, decorative hardware and a some outdoor cushions and you have the perfect place to relax on warm spring days.
Another way to reuse an old door is to turn it into a coffee table. The design we found added hardware and wheels for a movable table.
You can also turn your door into a custom headboard. Leave it as is or distress it to your liking.
